Summer Safari Special - Malling Down Nature Reserve, Lewes Thursday, 6th August 2015 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM

The beginning of August is usually the best time to search for chalk downland butterflies and by this time there is a good chance of seeing both Chalkhill blues, which are coming to the end of their flying time, and Adonis blues that are at the beginning. Common Blue, Brown Argus and a slight chance of Small Blue as well, while the other very scarce species that can be found here, the Silver-spotted Skipper may also be in flight.

Open to anyone interested in butterflies and general wildlife.
