Local groups

The Sussex Wildlife Trust's Local Groups are based in Eastbourne and the Storrington and Arun Valley Regional Group. The Local Groups organise a wide range of events, practical projects and campaigns throughout the year in their local areas.

These events, which include guided walks, talks and slide shows, are a great way for you to extend your knowledge of wildlife and to meet like minded people who share an interest in the natural world.

As well as running these events, the Groups also work hard to publicise the work of the Sussex Wildlife Trust and carry out valuable fundraising for the Trust with all the proceeds going towards protecting wildlife in Sussex.

Sussex Walking Group

Open to members of Sussex Wildlife Trust, this group meets once a month for a morning's walk, in interesting locations across the county.
