Sussex Bay

Sussex Bay presents an exciting vision which hopes to see 100 miles of our local coastline flourish. Sussex Wildlife Trust shares this vision, which we know can only be delivered by organisations and communities working together to deliver pioneering projects to benefit the marine and coastal environment.

We are proud to chair and co-ordinate the ground breaking Sussex Kelp Recovery Project, as well as continuing our vital campaigning for the recovery of our precious marine protected areas. We work every day to reconnect coastal communities with the wonders of the marine environment and our innovative Wild Beach approach engages young people with our Sussex seas and shoreline.

The Trust's Our Wild Sussex strategy, recognises that the magnitude of change needed to connect and protect wildlife will only succeed by working in partnership with communities and organisations to deliver practical actions at scale. The Trust is delighted that Sussex Bay supports our vision for living seas, thriving with diverse sea life and healthy marine habitats.
