Harriet Trueman, Sussex Wildlife Trust’s Wilder Ouse Officer, has a passion for Dung Beetles. They are arguably one of the Uk’s most important agricultural species, taking the job no one else wants, and they don’t charge us a penny.

During this webinar, Harriet will introduce you to their fascinating ecology, how they feed and breed and where we can find them.

Hear more about the vital ecological functions of these small creatures, and their economic value in agriculture, before delving into the current threats they face and how better farming and livestock practises can support populations.

Using Sussex Wildlife Trust nature reserves and the Wilder Ouse Project as examples, Harriet will showcase how looking after Dung Beetles can benefit us all.
