Do you enjoy being outdoors? Have a keen interest in nature? Want to get hands-on with conservation?

Then why not join Youth Rangers? If you are 16 to 25 years, interested in wildlife and would like to gain skills in land-based work, this group is for you.

What we do

Youth Rangers carry out conservation work at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. We provide a range of activities and conservation tasks to get involved with, including species identification, habitat management, removing invasive non-native species, beach cleans, safe use and maintenance of hand tools, green woodworking and bushcraft skills.

Where and when: We meet every other Saturday during term time at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, from 10am to 2pm. You'll need to attend at least one of these sessions a month.
