Family Activity: Felted Autumn Garland - Rye Harbour (28/10/24) Monday, 28th October 2024 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Learn how to create an autumnal felted garland or a group of felted hanging ornaments with Aimi, our Wilder Learning Officer. Discover how and why leaves change colour in the autumn and use their colours as inspiration to craft your own felted leaves. Children will learn both dry felting and wet felting techniques and there will be the option to embellish the leaves with some hand stitching. Suitable for children aged 5yrs and older.

Location: Our Education Room at Rye Harbour Discovery Centre, Rye Harbour, TN31 7FW

Public Transport: The 313 Stagecoach bus travels from Northiam to Rye train station and on to Rye Harbour village.

What to bring: All materials and equipment will be provided please bring a drink.
