Family Event: Beach School (16/08/2024) Friday, 16th August 2024 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Leader: Alice Oakley

Take part in our fun Beach School at Rye Harbour nature reserve! Join Alice on a walk to the shingle shore. She’ll lead you through various family activities, such as a beach scavenger hunt, pebble pictures, making giant bubbles, kite-making, creating rock pools, and litter-picking.

If the weather is too wet, we’ll offer activities indoors, like beach-themed crafts & games and identifying coastal creatures.

Suitable for children aged 5 to 11 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Please be aware that all attendees need to purchase a ticket.

Price does not include refreshments. Our café will be open from 10am to 4pm for refreshments and lunch.

Location: Meet at Rye Harbour Discovery Centre, Rye Harbour, TN31 7FW

Public Transport: The 313 Stagecoach bus travels from Northiam to Rye train station and on to Rye Harbour village.

What to bring: Please wear suitable outdoor clothing/footwear, and sun protection, for the weather conditions and the beach. Bring a drink too.
