Birding and wildlife photography does not have to cost a fortune, either to your wallet or our planet!

Sara Humphrey (Sussex Sara) is a conservationist and wildlife photographer based in Eastbourne. She tracks down and documents a wide range of wildlife across Sussex and beyond, travelling by public transport or hiking across the South Downs.

Sara uses a Nikon P950 bridge camera for both her photography and film, which keeps her kit costs low and also makes it easier to carry long distances!

During this talk, Sara will discuss how she uses fieldcraft and conservation knowledge to get closer to the wildlife she photographs, particularly birds, whilst being careful not to alter their natural behaviour.
