Henfield - Woods Mill Nature Tots (04/09/2021) Saturday, 4th September 2021 10:00 AM -

1st Saturday of the month - 4th September, 2nd October, 6th November & 4th December 2021 (4 sessions) - with Cleo

10am to 12 Noon

For 3 – 6 year olds with accompanying adults.  ADULTS FREE OF CHARGE

Bring your little ones along to help them explore the natural world. This will involve getting to know the forest school site, woodland activities, stories, singing and lots more!

Each month will have a different theme which will always be based in a special forest school site. Children will learn to become confident in the woodland setting, learn basic woodcraft skills, explore their natural surroundings, including storytelling, singing and lots of woodland activities. It’ll provide a great opportunity for you and your little ones to have fun in the natural environment and will aim to encourage an early interest in wildlife.

NEW NATURE TOTS GROUP GUIDELINES ARE IN PLACE IN RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS

As you are aware, the Coronavirus pandemic means that we have to be extremely careful about taking care of the health and wellbeing of all staff, volunteers and participants at our events.  We will provide a bottle of sanitiser so all attendees (staff, volunteers, parents and children) must thoroughly sanitise their hands before and after the session, and during as required.  We will facilitate activities in order that separate households can maintain social distancing as much as is practically possible, while enjoying their time with us.

Our social distancing guidelines are being reviewed regularly; Numbers will be restricted to help facilitate social distancing between staff, volunteers and family groups. The responsibility for managing distancing of their self and their child remains with the accompanying adult. We reserve the right to adjust our social distancing measures in the light of Government advice and Sussex Wildlife Trust Policy. 

Adults will be required to wear a face covering for short periods of time while engaged in tasks which require working close to another adult, such as bracing wood while their child is sawing. We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the group if they do not comply with our terms and conditions so we ask that you please read the following information carefully BEFORE booking  

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and walking boots/wellingtons. Drink, snack and mud provided.

Not suitable for wheelchairs or those with compromised mobility.

Sorry no dogs allowed on the reserve.

Toilets on site.

Compass bus no.100 stops at Woods Mill.

I just wanted to let you know again how much daisy and I enjoyed your nature tots session. I couldn’t believe how much effort you and your team had gone to, to make it amazing.  I learnt stuff I didn’t know too!  Daisy had a nap straight after but the first words she said when she woke up was ‘I loved that’ meaning your session.  She has chatted about it constantly since - so you have made a big impact on her!  Thanks so much again and we look forward to next week.   Love Sarah x
