An online talk organised by Sussex Ornithological Society (SOS).

Jim Glover will tell the story of how and why the Arun Valley became designated as a Special Protection Area (SPA), a Special Area for Conservation (SAC) and an internationally important Ramsar wetland site.

Jim will also outline the key role that Tim Callaway played in the conservation of the area. Tim died tragically and prematurely on the last day of last year and this talk is dedicated to his memory.

This is a free event but registration is essential. Booking for SOS events is undertaken through Eventbrite. Please note these talks start half an hour earlier than Sussex Wildlife Trust talks.
