This special course allows you to have a deeper insight into an animal which although familiar to everyone is elusive and rarely encountered. 

The course will start in a woodland classroom where David Plummer will discuss the badger’s life cycle & biology covering such topics as social structure, setts, latrines etc., David will then lead you on an exploration of the woodland tracking badgers through their footprints and other signs. We then discuss how to watch & observe, before proceeding to a watching platform to watch badgers as they emerge from their sett at dusk.

Not suitable for children aged 14 and under.
