Wildlife Rangers - Friston Forest (31/10/19) Thursday, 31st October 2019 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

We will be running a funded Wildlife Ranger session on Thursday 31st October (Halloween!).   There will be a range of activities including fire lighting, bush craft skills, and conservation tasks with a specific focus on bats to get us in the festive spirit! Bats are incredible creatures and here at Friston Forest and the Seven Sisters Country Park we are so luckily to have a great variety of species. We will be doing what we can to improve the area for the bats that live here and get up close and personal to learn about some of the species we may find on our site.

As it is Halloween it is the choice of the Wildlife Rangers if they want to dress up – I certainly will be! But just remember that we will be having a fire so think carefully about what you wear, flowing capes and other bits that may blow in the wind and could catch fire will not be allowed near the fire.
