We’re celebrating 50 years of Seaford Head Nature Reserve - the best spot to enjoy spectacular views of both the Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Valley. Join us as the sun rises to observe some of the bird species that call the reserve home, but also those that are on the move. October typically sees the arrival of flocks of finches and thrushes from the East and many species of waterfowl looking to overwinter. Strong easterly winds can make it the perfect time of year to find rarer birds amongst the more common migrants. We'll also keep our eyes peeled for the wealth of other creatures that inhabit this wonderful chalk downland. 3km walk with some slopes.

Meet in the car park next to South Hill Barn (Grid ref: TV505980, nearest postcode BN25 4JQ).
