Volunteer Taster Day - Environmental Education Thursday, 24th September 2015 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Volunteers needed for Environmental Education at Woods Mill, Henfield and Tilgate Park, Crawley

Sussex Wildlife Trust is looking for volunteers to lend a helping hand with children visiting its education centres at Woods Mill near Henfield, and Tilgate Park near Crawley. If you like working with children and are keen to share your enjoyment of wildlife with others then why not consider joining the team?

Regular commitment is appreciated, but this could be as little as one day each month or as often as four days a week during busy periods. You don’t have to be an expert but some knowledge or an interest in wildlife is useful. During a school visit the children, aged between 4 and 11 years old, take part in different wildlife-themed activities from pond dipping to learning bush craft skills.
