Wildlife Walks, Talks and Courses in September 2019

As we head into autumn it may seem that things are slowing down in the countryside yet this is the best time of year to see certain species of wildlife. With bird migration underway now is the time to join us on a walk at some of the county’s birdwatching hotspots and we will be leading walks at our Rye Harbour and Seaford Head reserves. Bats are very active now as they are busily feeding up on insects each night to sustain them through the winter’s hibernation and we have bat evenings lined up at our Woods Mill reserve near Henfield. 

We are also running some courses throughout September. Our ‘Wyrd Ways’ course explores the ways ancient Britons engaged with nature while Davis Plummer’s two-day photography course helps you capture nature through your camera. Our owls courses are always popular and three dates have already sold out so book your places very quickly if you want to learn more about these amazing birds.
