Wild about Sussex Photography Competiton

Sussex Wildlife Trust is looking for 12 stunning photographs capturing the best of the nature and landscape of Sussex. 

We'd love to see your local wildlife and landscape shots. Amaze us with the ladybirds in your garden, migrating wildfowl, macro spiders, flowers carpeting a woodland floor, colourful fungi, clouds of downland butterflies or a sleeping hedgehog in the park. Show us the wild places that are special to you. It could be high on the Downs, deep in the woods or your favourite urban nature spot.

This year's theme is Wild about Sussex

The First Prize is £100 cash and the Runner Up with receive a pair of reusable KeepCups and Sussex Wildlife Trust's 2019 printed calendar

The winning 12 photographs will also feature in our online calendar and be displayed at the Sussex Wildlife Trust's AGM in November 2018 and at the Booth Museum of Natural History in Brighton. In addition, the overall winning image will feature in Wildlife magazine, our monthly e-newsletter and on the Sussex Wildlife Trust’s website and social media.

This year we are fortunate to have professional wildlife photographer David Plummer and the editor of Sussex Wildlife Trust's Wildlife magazine, Amanda Reeves judging to choose the final 12 images for the public vote.
