Spark a love of wildlife in your child

We all know that children are happier, healthier and more creative when they are connected with nature. By getting hands on with our outdoor adventure and bushcraft clubs, families have the opportunity to create shared happy memories to last a lifetime.

I know coaxing their kids away from screen time can be increasingly challenging for parents. Our Nature Tots and Wildlife Watch groups offer youngsters aged 3-8 the chance to get outdoors and have a go at anything from a minibeast safari, to making a mud monster, or sawing their own spinner to take home.The immersive nature of the activities means they are learning about their local wildlife and how to care for it, while making new friends and having a great time trying new experiences.

Clambering over uneven surfaces helps build physical coordination, and cooperative challenges such as den building also build social skills and team working. We show them how to safely use woodcraft tools such as a bowsaw and drill, to make their own creations from natural materials; and once they have mastered the technique, it really boosts their self-esteem.

Why not give it a go? We run sessions at Stanmer Park, Brighton, weekly on Friday mornings for ages 3-5 starting from 2nd March. Our new combined Tots and Watch group for ages 3-8 runs monthly on Saturday afternoons starting from 10th March. Booking is essential, for further information and booking please visit:
