Snipe - Stayin' Alive

Common snipe can be seen nearly all year round in Sussex, but they only breed occasionally. They can be difficult to see because they usually hide away and are well camouflaged against vegetation. At Rye Harbour nature reserve the first returning bird was noted on a "trail camera" on 6th July. It's dance is thought to conceal it when moving, but on the bare shingle margin of a pit it did make it stand out. Is it dancing to "Stayin' Alive" ?
