Seaford Head spring update

We’ve had a busy winter with volunteers working on practical management tasks on the site. As we are now in the nesting season scrub management has stopped but we have been out removing small blackthorn and hawthorn using a handy gadget called a “treepoppers".

A group of us joined Michael Blencowe looking for the barred toothed striped moth. It was rather a chilly evening so the count was quite low at 16. See the Events page of the website for walks Michael is doing on the site this summer.
