New Information Centre

We have opened a new information centre in temporary cabins at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve. This offers larger, warmer and drier facilities than the old Lime Kiln Cottage where we are planning to create a completely new visitor facility.

The information centre has lots of free information and a small shop, but also a Discovery Room where you can find displays on Shingle Wildlife, Saltmarsh Wildlife, A Changing Coastline, How the Tides are Turning and a Nature Table. Please do pop in and find out what wildlife is around and where to see our special plants and animals. Perhaps even bring something of interest for our Nature Table, but it must be dry and not smelly!
