As well as the sparkling sea and views of the Seven Sisters there’s lots to see at Seaford Head nature reserve at the moment. Wonderful wildflowers including musk mallow and common centaury. The boldy striped cinnabar moth caterpillar can be seen on ragwort.

There’s lots of butterflies around such as the marbled white and small skipper and we have recently seen dark green fritillaries along the Hope Gap path. Chalkhill blues will be appearing any day now. And one of our volunteers spotted this young common shrew.
