What a great week to be out at Seaford Head and we had two guided walks.

On Tuesday I took a group from Seaford Natural History Society and on Friday Sussex Wildlife Trust members. Butterfly numbers seem to be down at the moment but we did see several marbled whites and gatekeepers and a few red admirals. Flowers are everywhere with many chalk grassland species such as common centaury, clustered bellflower, fairy flax and squinancywort (such a great name) at their best. Well worth a visit.
