Find your voice in art with Cy Baker

"I found a brilliant tool in the biro because it just keeps going. You don't have to sharpen it. It's very consistent. I tried lots of different pens, some very expensive art pens and they kept on breaking but the biro just keeps going."

Cy Baker is artist in residence at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve this year. Through the seasons he has been getting to know the big skies and intricate nature of the reserve. 

"Working with people from the wildlife trust has been a real shot in the arm for hope," he says. "When you see the amazing work that's being done, it really gives you great belief that we can overcome the challenges".

This July, there are opportunities for adults and younger artists to see Cy at work, and learn alongside him at Rye Harbour.
