With the weather forecast telling us that the last few days of warm weather was coming to an end I decided to head off to the Downs looking for two two super plants not commonly seen, namely Autumn Lady's-tresses and Field Gentian. Fortunately I knew the places to look and found them relatively easily but numbers were fewer than I had seen in the same places last year.
