Cattle Grazing at Seaford Head

There are cattle grazing the shaded area shown on the map from January 2020.

The new area includes around Hope Bottom and Hope Gap to the Cottages. There will be ten cattle on site and we have put an electric fence along the cliff top.

Conservation grazing will help control the coarser grasses and scrub and contribute to restoring this area of chalk grassland. The cattle are checked daily and have access to water.

Please keep dogs under close control and ensure that all gates are closed.
